Under Armour Cameo

Last Friday, we all took a break from our various projects and endured a six-hour, butt-bruising truck ride to the Mole San Nicholas, a town on the very tip of Haiti's northwest peninsula. It's the oldest town in Haiti, where Columbus landed when he "discovered" Hispaniola. It's also jam-packed with old French forts, ships overloaded with charcoal headed for Port-au-Prince, and Under Armour models...or just some guys shooting photos. Chris Phebus is modeling.

It was a great time for all, and I think almost all of us bought 200-year-old cannonballs for around 50 cents apiece.

This week I'll be finishing up work on the malnutrition project, which had been going very well. Erika's leading a team of folks at NWHCM's primary orphanage, doing work with children in the mission's sponsorship program. No one can pull off something like that like my Erika. Truly she is amazing.
